An Introduction to the Page

Hello all! My intent with this site is to upload my self-made notes as I progress through CIPS Level 4.

  • I will keep these notes free of charge.
  • I make my notes through a combination of my own career experience to date, YouTube and CIPS textbooks.
  • Above all, I try to distil my content down to what I think is required for the exams and attempt to make things more relatable

The schedule for releasing my notes aligns to the exam windows that I'll be using for Level 4, and is as follows:

  1. L4M1: Useful resources linked
  2. L4M2: Chapter 1 published. Chapters 2 and 3 anticipated March 2025
  3. L4M3: Published
  4. L4M4: Anticipated May 2025
  5. L4M5: Anticipated May 2025
  6. L4M6: Anticipated July 2025
  7. L4M7: Anticipated July 2025
  8. L4M8: TBC

For background, L4M2-L4M7 are multiple choice exams, and hence I feel able to write a fairly comprehensive set of notes. However, L4M1 and L4M8 are essay-based exams, and therefore require much more in-depth study. Hence, I'd recommend getting a textbook for these, as my L4M1 page outlines.

Feel free to drop comments on the page with feedback and suggestions, or email at procurementcipshelp@gmail.com. Good luck with your exams!

About Me

I live in the UK, and started work in Consulting in 2023. I have a keen interest in the public sector, particularly in large-scale investments and procurements. My experiences to date have spanned Central Government and Defence procurements. I started CIPS at the end of 2024, passing L4M1 in November 2024. I have chosen to self-study and am finding this to be a great and affordable option. Please do reach out at procurementcipshelp@gmail.com with any questions!
